What it is
Thermal comfort is not only about water. Mechanical ventilation and extraction provide the air changes a building needs, which is also a safety requirement in any room containing gas-fired equipment.
What is included
- Thermal load calculation
- Duct and diffuser design
- Equipment and controls
- Measured air balancing
- Maintenance plan
How it works
Load and air change calculation
We determine thermal load and the air change rate the space requires.
Design
We define equipment, duct routing and supply and return positions.
Installation
Ducts, units and controls installed with access for maintenance.
Balancing
We measure flow at every diffuser and adjust until the design figures are met.
Frequent questions
Does a room with a gas heater need ventilation?
Yes, and it is mandatory. Combustion consumes oxygen from the room and requires permanent, correctly sized openings.
What is balancing?
Adjusting airflow at each outlet so every room gets its design volume, instead of the air taking the easiest path.
Will extraction fix mould?
It solves most cases caused by humidity without air renewal. If there is water ingress, the source has to be treated as well.
